Questions people usually ask
Do I need finance experience to start a chapter?
No. The curriculum is built for total beginners — for leaders and members alike. If you can read a lesson out loud and ask good questions, you're qualified.
How much time does it take?
One weekly meeting. That's it. The curriculum is paced so a chapter can work through all six lessons over a semester without feeling rushed.
What do I get when I start a chapter?
The full six-lesson curriculum, leader guides for running meetings, and access to the FIC network of other chapters — plus an invitation to the inter-school pitch competition.
Does it cost anything?
No. FIC is a nonprofit and the curriculum is free for chapters. We're entirely community-supported.
What if my school already has a finance or investing club?
That's great — FIC's curriculum and pitch competition can plug right into an existing club. Reach out and we'll figure out what makes sense together.
